Current unemployment is at its highest rate in 26 years.  Rising to 9.7%, many experts believe that unemployment will likely reach 10% by the end of the year.  Underemployment, or those who have had their wages reduced or hours cut, has reached 16.8%.  The Federal Reserve states that labor market conditions are weak.  Jobs will be one of the last markets to recover.
