by David Elsey

In order to gain emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual stability, you have to develop your abundance. The process of developing abundance actually involves internal and external motivations.

For people to experience success, happiness, and abundance, they need to reflect on their own selves emphasizing honesty towards others as well as yourself. Although this is easier said than done, once you do you will really appreciate the great benefits it brings.

A good indication that there is a lack of abundance in people’s lives is if they are chronically dissatisfied. Generally, people tend to think of abundance in terms of material possessions.

However, if someone has great material wealth but they are miserable, they aren’t living an abundant life. There are many stories of wealthy but lonely hermits who lack warm relationships and real companionship. In fact, many well-off individuals are depressed, anxious, and generally unhappy.

Developing abundance, therefore, requires a positive approach in life. Your beliefs, your feelings, and your thinking should all unite in a positive way. If you think that you need to change the way you approach life, now is the time to start.

Although all of us are living in a world that is full of abundance, it can be difficult to imagine that not everyone is living an abundant life. People tend to neglect the fact that in order to obtain abundance one must open themselves to the ways through which it will flow. If one will clear the inner being from negative emotions and attitudes such as an unforgiving spirit, worry, anger, guilt, shame, and others, there is a great possibility that abundance will begin to flow from within.

The first step to develop abundance is to face your own negative self and overcome all the bad traits that make you unhappy. Developing abundance requires that you develop your inner self. There may be many negative forces to pulling you down. Assess yourself and evaluate those things that need your focused attention in order to help you improve your life and become abundant later on.

These days there are many tools that can be used to help people. From cognitive behavior therapy to energy therapies such as EFT and applied kinesiology, there are ways to assist individuals who desire to make changes in their life. The key to developing abundance from the inside out is perseverance.

It is really worth developing abundance in life. When you start to open up yourself to others, you will truly understand the importance of life and become happy with it. Once you learn to be happy, making others happy is one the best ways to achieve an abundant life.

Learn how you can manifest wealth for yourself and find out the secrets of abundance meditation. Visit the site and get your FREE DVD Package.

by Dr. Jay Polmar

You have an amazing Power attached to your thoughts. Think about this. POWER connected to your THOUGHTS. Rephrase: Energy connected to your thinking. Now that you have heard this, do you instinctively concern yourself about the thoughts that endlessly run through your mind?

And what about that little “babbling voice” that lives somewhere back there and drives thousands of people to see their therapists every week. When you search for it – it says: “Voice? Voice? What voice? I don’t hear any voice?” THAT’S THE VOICE.

You think that voice doesn’t drive people nuts. Guess how much money is spent on mental health every year in the US? The real reason behind the psychotherapy – the inability to control one’s inner babbling chatterbox. The goal here is for you to ThinkRight.

Maybe, you think that voice doesn’t drive people nuts. Do you have any idea how much money is spent on psychiatry and psychiatric hospitals every year in the US? N o one does, the American Psychiatric Association keeps the true cost secret. Did you know that the real reason behind the psychiatry is usually – the inability to control one’s inner babbling chatterbox? The goal here is for you to know how to ThinkRight.

How’s your own self-image. Self-image is the result of your own thinking, positive or negative – or wrong or right, if you want. If you want to change, you’ll just have to admit that you need to change and then make the change. The THINKRIGHT program by Dr. Jay Polmar will cause the change needed in you, by just thinking.

Fear of change is the great restriction to many people. They don’t realize that to change means to grow and evolve. Are you responsible enough to say, “I must change, I will change, and I am changing”?

Give yourself the opportunities to change. If you want to be a winner in the game of life, you have to listen to your insights and intuition. These aren’t the only ways to achieve, but they are the easiest. Winners listen to their inner voice of wisdom and not the babbling voice of fear. Those who cannot hear the voice because of their uncontrolled babbling idiot voice running endless negative thought programs, drift aimlessly through life in a sea of fear and doubt. Don’t be lost drifting in that sea of fear; learn how to THINKRIGHT and find yourself a true winner in life.

The world is a mess, and all of us responsible. Personally, we need a way out, a way to win, to get out of this chaos. Thinkright. You just Thinkright and create a better world.

By Masami Sato

A new development is revolutionizing many lives in the hamlets of India by bringing brightness where there used to be blackness.

An article was published in The New York Times named, “Husk Power for India.” Current, which is routinely available in the lives of most in industrialized nations, is an unimaginable luxury in out-of-the-way corners of emerging countries. What was once fodder for cattle is now used to produce current – rice husks.

Raised in the rural state of Bihar, Manoj Sinha understood what it was like to sit in darkness. Being an engineer with Intel Corporation he had all the ability to bring alive the dream of a lifetime. He led the advancement of his power equipment that produces electricity from rice husks and other farm waste and now he trades it to hamlets across India.

Sinha is what could be called a social entrepreneur because he feels business is a solution to key social issues. “Business leaders must realize (sic) that the world’s poor need investments more than handouts,” he says, adding, “These are customers, not victims.”

The article inspired me to think about giving in a different way leading me to ask myself, “What is the most effective form of giving?” Is it education, commercial activity, or disaster relief? There are so many ways to make a difference. One way of giving can seem more effective or sustainable than other ways depending on the way it is expressed, looked at, or implemented.

I then came to delineate there were eight segments to giving. So, let me chart out the eight differences; which in effect are often ‘stages’ of giving as well.

Stage 1: Necessity – Saving and helping others who are afflicted by natural catastrophe, contagious diseases, or other unmanageable conditions.

Stage 2: Respite – Providing respite from enduring need, poverty, ill health, disadvantages or prejudice which otherwise would continue or deteriorate because of the lack of awareness, training, or resources.

Stage 3: Curing and Defending – Morally, bodily, and spiritually. Many people carry scars that may be invisible but strongly constricting their lives. Giving the cure to release the long-standing suffering creates more chances for them while giving necessary defense gives them a feeling of security.

Stage 4: Training – Giving better training, knowledge, and skill instruction to create empowered and practical solutions to resource creation, while encouraging people to identify their singular talent to survive.

Stage 5: Innovative Investment – Giving a helping hand, cash, or material to those who have the ability to make a change. This gets weighed many times as the materials increase and is passed on to several others who again create more out of the chances given.

Stage 6: Tenability – Working together with the people in the local surroundings, creating tenable groups -ambiance-wise and reciprocally.

Stage 7: Empowerment – Enabling and motivating the people to release their true ability and power to make changes. In this group of sharing, the aim of giving changes from ‘giving to the people who want’ to ‘giving people a chance to give to others’ and to the society.

Stage 8: Caring – Just doing whatever we want to, while cherishing and caring for others. No tactic or expected result exists in this phase of giving. ’Giving’ does not even exist here in the conventional sense of the word, as there is no sense of ownership, reasoning, or yearning to alter anything. This is where we do not even have to worry about anything; we give as a part of our own delightful sense of being.

What we also find is that at each of these eight stages of giving there are different things that the giver receives:

1.) Sense of bonding

2.) Sense of well being

3.) Relief from pain (our own)

4.) Gratitude for our own knowledge, skills, and circumstances

5.) Long-term sense of involvement and fulfillment for our own life

6.) Improved environment for our own life and for the lives for all those we love and care for

7.) Soul gratifying encouragement and devotion to our own purpose

8.) Love

Sharing has many stages and sensations based upon the donor and receiver. In addition, the ‘phases’ do not detail which one is of more importance than the other. All are mandatory.

I was lucky to have an experience early in 2008 while journeying with a group of devoted entrepreneurs across India to see how we could be more productive in our helping. I was particularly happy to have one outstanding encounter that led me to think about what ‘actual giving’ really meant.

We were travelling in a small town one day. Four of us had just called a taxi to take us to another nearby town. We dealt with the driver cautiously as our hotel staff had forewarned us about the possible swindle when they see that we were not local.

We halted briefly in front of the local train station for a short recess on the way. While the others went to use the restroom, I tried to chat with our taxi driver standing near his vehicle. With his limited knowledge of English and a wonderful smile that showed his blackened front teeth, he told me that he had a house on the suburbs of the town and he had a sweet wife and two lovely kids who went to the
local school – I felt a strong bonding with him.

I patted him on the back for having an affectionate family and told him that I also had two kids of the same age as his. When the others came back, the driver instantly asked us to come to his house for food. I thought it was just a formality he wanted to convey at first. However, after leaving us at the centre of the town, he was particular that he would wait for us until we were done with our traveling around the town. And he actually did. I was in fact quite taken aback to see him still standing by the side of the road next to his taxi even after an hour. We hopped back into the taxi and he whizzed off up the road to where his home was.

When we reached there we were really quite taken aback to see how he was living. It was more or less similar (if not worse) to the standard of people dwelling in slums we had visited before. From the gleaming new taxi he was driving, who could have thought this. As the car turned into the narrow unsealed road between the hut-like houses that were constructed with crudely made concrete blocks and painted mud walls, we felt contrite about having agreed to his invitation. For a brief moment, I
felt mortified. ”How could I have exploited the generosity of a man who didn’t seem to have anything and I didn’t even get any edible stuff or presents for his family”, I thought.

As we walked into his house, we saw a pan and small stove on the mud floor. His very shy wife nodded blushing in surprise and disappeared into the small storeroom (a cupboard size) next to it. As I looked in, I saw the next-door neighbours handing over some teacups to his wife over the crumbled concrete fence. They didn’t even have extra teacups in their house. There was only one small room fitted out with one single bed and an old galvanized chest next to it.

The taxi driver quickly pulled out three hand-woven rugs from the chest and rolled them out on the small patch of mud floor putting one on the bed.

Steaming cups of tea and hot snacks arrived soon. Both his kids as well as kids from the neighbouring houses came to see us and remained at the doorway. The six of us could just squeeze into the tiny room. I was curious to know where his children were sleeping. I thought that maybe they had another space somewhere. To my astonishment, he just pointed at the chest and said with his happy smile that it was their bed.

He happily told us that he was an amateur dancer in the town and showed us some plaques on the sill above the bed. Enthusiastic to show us his dancing proficiency, he ran outside all at once. From somewhere music came flowing into the tiny room. He had no apparatus for music within the
house, it was coming from outside. Surprised, I looked around to see him reversing his vehicle towards the back of his house keeping the doors open with the radio of the car blaring forth!

The time quickly passed (dancing together and having more cups of tea) and it was finally time to say thank you for their great hospitality and head on our way. As we stood up to leave and thank him and his wife, he reached to the best looking rug on the bed, rolled it up and handed it to us. It was one of the only few things he had. I could not believe he offered it to us.

We all respectfully refused his gift and came out saying goodbye to everyone waving at us. We got perplexed about this whole thing. Should we have offered some cash to the family as they obviously had limited means? Should we have agreed to take his wonderful gift?

As I was thinking about this awe-inspiring experience after a few days, I considered our begging off his gift. He looked crest-fallen that we didn’t accept the gift. It wasn’t only the rejecting of the gift that remained in my mind.

I realised that the sense of discomfort I felt was actually coming from perceiving him as less fortunate. I was thinking that I couldn’t possibly take anything from someone who had so little.

But did he really have so little? Maybe he had more – a lot more.

Maybe the greatest gift we could have given him then was to receive his gift in total respect and gratitude.

All acts of giving and receiving are necessary for us to fill our world with abundance and fulfillment equally for both giver and receiver. We can start doing this instead of judging and justifying one over another. The pure act of giving and receiving requires no further explanation.

Manoj Sinha’s words continue to reverberate in my mind, “these are customers, not victims.” I can picture the happy faces of the rural folk who are now pleased to have power in their hamlets and the kids who now can read books and happily do their homework at night.

This has been an exhausting summer. Really, it has been an exhausting year. It has been a year of triumphant optimism. Yet, there have been times that have pushed the limits of our patience and tolerance.

The healthcare debate has been particularly corrosive, divisive, and counterproductive. Every step has been hailed as a milestone. Nevertheless, we are no closer to a healthcare plan.

The Democrats barely got enough votes to begin debating the bill. Now, according to Senators Liebermann, Lincoln, and a few others there are major parts of the bill that they cannot support. These senators have enough votes to derail the legislation.

I went to the Tea Parties while I was Washington, D.C a few weeks ago. I experienced the unfocused anger and vitriol firsthand. What surprised me was that most of the people were genuinely confused about the legislation.

However, their anger did not stop there. People are hurt and confused about nearly everything. Their sense of safety and security is unraveling. Unemployment continues to rise and economists are predicting that a full recovery could take years.

Even if the economy rebounds considerably, there have been such fundamental shifts in the way we work and how our society even thinks about work, that many people will be unprepared for the future.

I get it. The future is scary. I believe that a major part of the anger comes from our increasingly dystopian vision of the world. However, I get angry with the people in our society who are stirring up this discontent.

Instead of reassuring a worried populace, these irresponsible rabble-rousers are creating a dangerous climate free of civil discourse and devoid of factual analysis. These appeals to emotion serve no one and make it exceedingly difficult to be heard over the din of anger and fear.

Although those on the left are unsatisfied with the pace of change and many on the right are uncomfortable with change at all, it behooves us not to let disillusionment and disappointment get the better of us.

We are fighting for our future, unstable as it may seem. If we stay focused on what is important, we will be able to continue fighting for a country that can and deserves to be better and more responsive to needs of its citizens. This is our enduring hope. Let no man or woman take that from you.

Gambling scams were never as recognized and as widespread as when it finally came in contact with cyber space. Online gambling, although beneficiary for those gambling aficionados, allowing them to gamble and avail of the enjoyment at home, also has some of its downsides more specifically the existence of online gambling scams.

Online scams usually include the refusal of a certain game company to “give you” your winnings. Some gambling scams may even go as far as totally refusing to let you win with absurd probabilities, and then refusing to let you cash out the remaining money you’ve got left.

One way to avoid these scams is to know what they are. Here are two most prevailing online gambling scams that you should be aware of, and should be able to detect easily.

Illegitimate Bonuses

Some gambling companies even go as far as inviting their former scammed customers under the ruse of “bonuses” telling them how sympathetic they are about you being scammed, and offering a bonus if you play with them instead. Just think, where did they get your contact details? Well they got it from that short form you filled out when you joined the first scam casino, and they’re actually looking to rip you off again.

What do they do? When it’s actually time for you to claim your bonus, they say that you are ineligible to receive the bonus.

To avoid being re-scammed, never fall for these types of offers. Even if you haven’t been scammed yet, they’d still send you a bonus offer then refuse to give it to you once you’ve deposited your money. A good rule of thumb with online gambling, if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is.

Piracy

One way to know a legitimate online casino is its affiliations and memberships; one such is the Interactive Gaming Council (ICG). However, logos provided by such organizations can easily be copied on the net, and what scammers do, is they imitate, sometimes, go as far as duplicating the design of a legitimate casino to pass off theirs. It is a good measure to look up the name of the online casino on the members list of the certain organization. ICG and others usually provide an easy to browse and search members list on their web sites.

To make sure that the casino you’re subscribing to is legit, type the company name and the word review in the search engine and read about them, you’ll more or less get an idea of how they work.

Since the recession began, many of us have been looking for ways to save a little money. Cigarettes are major expense and can cost us more down the line in healthcare costs. As a result, people have stopped smoking not only to improve their health, but also to save money.

However, as anyone who smokes or knows a smoker understands, quitting is not easy. For those who are struggling with withdrawal urges, there are ways that will help you be steadfast in the face of temptation. The important things is to seek treatment for withdrawal.

When you smoke, your body is exposed to nicotine, which is a very addictive substance. The longer your body is exposed to nicotine, the harder it is for the body to function properly without it. This is the reason why people who smoke, especially those who have been smoking for a long time, find it difficult to quit smoking. They have become addicted to nicotine. In order to be completely free, they will have to cleanse their system of nicotine and find ways to avoid their triggers.

Withdrawal symptoms may come in different forms. These are some of the most common symptoms:

* Difficulty sleeping

* Constant nervousness

* Inability to concentrate

* Depression

* Irritability

* Increased appetite

Before you finally stop smoking, you will have to fight these withdrawal symptoms. Failure to do so will result in you smoking again and all of your hard work will have been in vain.

Identify the urges that are the hardest for you to resist. By doing so, you will have a better idea of how to manage them properly when they eventually manifest. There several products that can assist you cut down your nicotine exposure. There are nicotine gums and patches that will help wean you off your need for nicotine. If you choose to buy these products, you should realize that you will have to stop using them eventually if you want to be completely free of nicotine.

There are also medicines and prescription drugs that can help you overcome depression after you have stopped smoking. Sometimes, these medications may also help with other withdrawal symptoms as well. However, before you take any of these drugs, you should consult your doctor first so that you can be prepared for any side effects.

These withdrawal urges may come and go throughout the day. These urges are strong and you have to fight hard not to light up. Yet, it is important to realize that after several times of successfully resisting these urges, you will feel the urges become less powerful. As time passes, you find your resilience growing.

You will find strength, perseverance, and focus that you did not know that you had. Find healthy diversions that focus your attention toward activities that will benefit you in a holistic manner. Remember your reasons for quitting and hold on to them tightly. The process you go through in order to stop smoking is not easy. But your body and your pockets will thank you.

Stress doesn’t only affect the mind; it can also have some adverse effects on your body if left unchecked. Even if we are mentally capable of handling all of our tasks, there is a possibility that our bodies are suffering severely because of an undue burden. If you continually push your body and mind to their limit, then you may suffer breakdown that can cause you considerable damage. It is not healthy to deny that all of us have our limits.

Your Body and Stress

Stress affects us differently depending on the state of our minds and bodies. The most common ailments attributed to mental stress are headaches or migraines. Some of us also experience minor cramps, in addition to other aches and pains in our backs, shoulders, or other parts of our body.

There is also a possibility that stress can affect our body chemistry as well. Untreated stress can cause nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, or even constipation. Others actually form ulcers that abrade the linings of the organs.

All of these things are treatable. However, if the source of the stress is not removed or the individual never learns to properly cope with their stress, then the individual will experience the same thing all over again.

Stress and Your Behavior

A person under the grip of stress may act rash and behave abnormally. Depending on their stress levels, they might have trouble sleeping or be unable to sleep altogether. Stress can also affect emotional states. Some people will either go into a depression or vent their rage in extremely unhealthy and unproductive manners. There are cases where stress drove a person into psychotic states that caused them to physically harm other people.

Coping With Your Problems

Nobody would be so crass as to deny that there are many problems facing us that naturally increase our stress levels. The economy, the political battles in Washington, wars and rumors of wars…it is amazing that most of us keep together as well as do. However, it is important to keep things in perspective. Learn to recognize your stress triggers and find effective ways to cope with and lower your stress. Stress begins in the mind and then starts to affect the body. Do not succumb or let your health be harmed by an inability to recognize and handle stress.

Personal mastery is not something that will only help you deal with stress and improve your confidence. It can also apply to your career as well. There are numerous studies showing personal mastery to have an impact on your everyday life because it makes you better at managing all aspects of your life.

Applying personal mastery in your career development is called career mastery. Career mastery can help integrate your personal development and growth into your professional growth and development.

There are different elements necessary for career mastery.

• Be proactive. It is important to go after what you want. In the application of career mastery, you need to identify your goals and take necessary action towards them. You will overcome barriers and limitations daily. While you do not have to overcome everything at once, it is important that you perform consistent actions daily.

• Connect with others. In order to connect effectively with other people or network, you need to connect with yourself first. By intricately knowing your own likes and dislikes, your strengths and weaknesses, you will be in a better position to make effective connections with other people.

• Get informed. Being informed is extremely important. Through the course of your career and personal life, you will be faced with many decisions, large and small. Making the correct decision is mainly about gathering enough information to make an informed choice.

• Be focused. When setting your goals, you will need to make decisions on the best way to achieve them. However, we all know how easy it is to become sidetracked. This can throw us off course and make it that much harder to reach our goals. Recognize when something or someone is a distraction and place it/them in their proper context. Stay focused on what is most important.

• Know your potential. It is important to know your potential. If you do not really believe that you can achieve something, then you never will. Only by faith, determination, and hard work will you achieve your goals. Take responsibility for your actions and figure out what works for you. Then do it.

It is important to take charge of your career. You have to take the initiative yourself and not let other people dictate your career path. Do something that you love. Successful people not only create and build their businesses solely for economic reasons, but they also love their businesses and what they do.

Achieving personal mastery with one skill and behavior can produce incredible results. Starting or shifting your career as a professional or an entrepreneur is not easy. You have to master yourself and your skills first. Yet, being able to master the tenets of personal mastery will serve you well throughout the course of your life. Self-control is increasingly lacking in today’s society. Those who are able to channel their thoughts, feelings, and abilities will always be successful and reach their goals.

Do you know that you can actually earn money while discovering your passion? Of course, money is not the only benefit that will come out of this process. However, if you feel like you are trapped in your present job, now is the time to rethink your life, your choices, and your future goals. You are in control of your own destiny. It is up to you to decide what and where you want to be. Prepare yourself to make mistakes; and be ready for the challenges that you will face on your journey. But most importantly, be aware that the only failure is the failure to try.

Learning to Live

Living to earn is not the same as earning a living. By making the latter your driving philosophy, you will have a happier and more fulfilling life. Life will be more enjoyable, especially when you are pursuing the things that really matter to you, while making money in the process. This is why people who have chosen a career path based solely upon how much money they can earn will likely encounter feelings of unhappiness about their decision at some point in their lives.

Complacent Zone

It is not good to be too complacent. If you have been working the same job, even though you never really wanted it initially, you will learn to become good at it. You will learn how to get through the job without getting into any trouble. It becomes a routine. You get your job done, you get paid, and then you wake up in order to perform the same tasks the next day. Although you make enough money to make ends meet, are you really living the life that you envisioned for yourself? If not, if you know that there is something that you want to do that will make you happier, then now is time to stop being complacent.

You must take risks in order to know what your capabilities are. You must not be afraid to fail. You only have to be willing to learn from your own mistakes.

Making Money From Your Passion

Everyone knows that if you really love what you are doing, you will eventually excel at doing it. You can pursue your passion while still working at your main job. This is ideal for those who cannot afford to lose their primary source of income. Your passion can actually help you earn extra income if you really pursue it with vigor. You only have to identify and utilize your talents. Eventually, you will surprise everyone because your passion will be bringing in a substantial amount of income that will initially supplement, and then subsequently eclipse, your primary source of income.

…And Then It Happened

Truly open yourself to these kinds of possibilities. Focus on the moment when you will be able to quit the job that you hate and finally do what you really love. This is the ideal situation to be in because when you love what you are doing, you will produce quality work. The way you live and your attitude towards life will be different because you had the courage to grasp your dreams and make them come true.
